Had 3 more friends come down and it was a good day again ! 6 of us put 19 trout in the boat plus 4 nice Reds ! We lost a huge Spanish at the boat ! SW with live shrimp in 4 ft of water ! And SS 342 , yes , I'm going to spend a little extra for shrimp to catch some Trout and Reds !! We come down once a month , gas , $40k boat , and cottage rental , I think a little more $$ on live shrimp is worth it.

Why would you worry what anybody else thinks about your bait choice? Dadgum, I've lost lures that cost as much as 50 shrimp in one cast before. Fish like shrimp. I like to catch fish, ergo, at times, I will feed them shrimp!

Think we may head over that way Saturday. I learned to fish the flats out of Keaton, but in a bay boat. How far out in kayaks to reach 4' approximately?
