catfish 11/17/15

Too windy to go to the coast, so went catfishing. Me and partner caught 10 nice speckled cats on minnows, left about noon. One very small perch, they haven't gathered up yet.

DixieReb, We found the trout at Keaton last Thursday. Sent you an email but don't know if you got it or not. Can't wait to go back but will have the boat in the shop Thursday and this windy weather may prevent our trip.

SS-342, I saw your report. Yall did good. I actually thought about going last Thursday but thought all the recent rain might have them messed up. Apparently not! If the weather will settle down, I'd like to try Keaton again before sure-nuff cold weather gets here.

Just read it, thanks. I haven't fished that area in a long time, seem to do better fishing north of there. But might give it a try when I go back.

We plan to go Friday so will let you know. We also like fishing north but went looking for sand trout. We find them in that area this time of year but none last Thursday. The speckled trout were there.
