Tried Aucilla yesterday, glad we did. Launched at 8 AM on falling tide, never saw the tide moving out that fast. Love the new ramp . We fished the mouth and Paul got 1 small trout and a remora. Went out to pole 1 and fished a while, but no trout. Ended up fishing about 100-200 yds. off grassline and got 9 trout to 18'' and of all things, a nice 6.5 lb. tuna. Paul hung something else big that got off before we could see it. Fished til 3 PM trying to get the 10th trout but it didn't happen and we left. On way in noticed 2 boats snatching mullet. I didn't think they were in the river yet.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark
Actually caught a blue fin off that first pole coming out of the mouth of the Aucilla. Pulled me all the way to Carrabelle before we landed him!! Epic battle!!
