St. Marks 1 Jan 16

Post by spothogg »

Fished St. Mark's today, launching at the fort. My son is down for the holidays from his new duty station in Norfolk, VA. Haven't seen him for the holidays in a great while due to his overseas deployment. Fished marker 17, with no luck. Moved to the grass flats in front of the light house and drifted for trout, but no joy. The wind was brisk and the rain picked up. Scooted back up the river and finally found some action, but all shorts. No fish in the cooler, but no matter. It was nice to spend the day on the water together and glad to have my boy back :)

Attaboy, Spothogg. Navy man, huh. Bravo.
To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.
