My Saturday did not start off the way I had planned.
Checked the weather, wind, tides. Looks Great! Loaded the boat & headed for St Marks ramp. As I stopped at the 4 way before the ramp, I see Steam coming from my HOOD!!! Not Good!!
I pull into a parking space at the ramp and look under the hood, everything is soaked. I have a bucket & there is water onsite, so I fill the radiator up while letting everything cool down. I thought it was the lower hose leaking, but felt there was to much water. So gave up on my fishing trip & made the slow trip with 4 stops to check the water going back to Woodville & to Savior Automotive. They opened just as I arrived, did a quick inspection & found out it was my Water-Pump!! So not only did I not get to fish, I have to spend close to $400.00!!! But I am So Glad they will have my truck ready Today. (Thank You, Savior Automotive) They drove me home & will pick me up once it's ready. But now I get to sit a home & do my Office work! On a perfect day for fishing. You know the Fish are Tearing It Up, because I can't be there!!
