Dr. Haedicke and his family are REALLY good folks, Futchcariro.

Appreciating you've done your fair share of agriculture work in the past, if he hasn't talked to you about his interest in forestry you should bring it up next time. He's bought up quite a bit of acreage / multiple tracts in and around Lloyd and done quite a bit of pine planting. If I'm remembering the story he told me correctly, he didn't love it as a boy while helping his own father with pine forestry but as he grew up he said he increasingly appreciated the lessons he learned as a boy. Another interesting thing about Dr. Haedicke is that he actually went into dentistry before going on to med-school, and before locating here he was quite a big dog with the hospital system down in Tampa (again if memory serves).

Never would know any of his accomplishments if you met him working out as his place, as he's a true down-to-earth country fellow at heart. Not sure he still drives it, but he's got a work truck he drives around his place that has a sofa mounted on the back that makes me think of the Beverly Hillbillies every time I see it. :D
