FWC Redfish Survey...

Post by bman »

Attention Red Drum Anglers: Have you taken FWC’s red drum survey yet?
If you fish for red drum in Florida, they want to hear from you.

Take the survey and share your input on the current bag limit and the status of red drum in your region.

Take the survey at:http://www.MyFWC.com/RedDrum2016

Visit their Facebook page for public input opportunities near you. http://www.Facebook.com/RedDrum2016

think they need to do a survey on our trout population and go back to closing it for that month of February so maybe we will still have some bigger trout left.

I have been proposing the same thing to some FWC folks. Close or reduce the bag limit on Speckled Trout in the northern half of the state from Dec-Feb. The fish congregate in the rivers and get pounded all winter. Also go back to the old (more restrictive) commercial rules on Trout.
