Robert, Lavon, my son and I planned to fish today. We were planning on leaving at 9:00 but when got up they were saying all craft warning on the weather. Ugh!!' Waited till 10:30 for the next forecast to come and it got better so of we went. Got on the water at 12:15 and headed out. . First stop on the second cast a nice 20" Spanish. . It was not that rough till late in the day and we caught tons of shorts with keepers sprinkled in. . . And more shorts. . Wound up with 10 trout 2 Spanish and a blue. Great day on the water. . .
Beautiful job filleting those trout. Wish mine came out that way. By the way thanks for a report that actually says something. Get so tired hearing the typical answer to the question "Where did you get those fish?" "In the water or In the mouth". Come on guys this isn't the school yard. Fish move, weather changes, techniques are different and I really don't care if people know where I caught yesterdays catch.
Got that off my chest now I can get back to enjoying the beautiful weather.

. My dad had me filleting fish at 10. That was 38 years ago. Lol. I'm with you on the details of a trip. I'll tell you anything you want to know. I'm all for helping other people. Some folks don't know where to fish or how. Or they do but can't go often enough to pattern them(that would be me). This site is supposed to be where you can get info to help you be more successful. I will always put that info on here. Next time I clean some fish I'll take some pics of my technique. It may help someone that struggles cleaning them.

. You talking about the 23rd? If so, we'll be there. 5or6 of us in two boats 22-24th. Better get something with chartreuse tails. That's what has been working.
