4-9 Panacea

Post by bman »

Had appointments early in the day but got to get on the water about 4pm.
Windy as all get out and the bite was slow.
Tried some new spots with minimal sucess but still caught fish... :smt080

and saw an awesome sunset.
Caught all the fish on gulp on a jig head or under a cork. 3-5 feet of water.

Finished with a steak at Hammanockers. :lick:

Thanks for the report. Weeks ago fishing in Panacea area was incredible hot but this last week only sail cats. Hoping to see some pompano on the sand bars.

Looks like you didn't do to bad considering the wind and after front weather. Caught more than I did compounding, polishing and waxing the boat. But boy did it need it.
