I know I'm a little late on this report from last weekend but figured I'd go ahead and type it up! We went down to Mexico Beach last weekend with some friends. laying on the beach isn't our thing so we left the women and drove over to Carrabelle where our good friend invited us to come out fishing. We made a quick run since season was only in state waters. The first spot produced a couple of keeper Snapper (barely) along with some grunts and sea bass. Capt. Neil wasn't happy with these fish so we made another short run and found some good bottom. We dropped our bait down and had our rods bent almost instantly. i caught my first Snapper that day and i was pretty proud of it. also my first keeper Grouper.
we left the dock around 8 am... the Captain has a long night lol and we where back by 12:30. seas got flat and the fish shut off so we didn't stick around and beg for bites.
great trip! he wouldn't let us pay for gas so we washed the boat and cleaned fish!

Nicely done, Dom. You'll be spoiled on offshore fishing now for sure.

I did have a great time but was heavily medicated do to motion sickness. offshore fishing isn't really my cup of tea but I did have a really good time on this trip! seas cooperated and the meds kept my stomach settled.
