New rod advice

I recently bought a Fin Nor LT30 and I need some advice on choosing a proper rod. This set up would be for inshore flats and ideally effective with top water, suspended and artificials. I've been looking at 7' medium power rods but the action has been tripping me up. What benefits and drawbacks would I see pairing it with a fast action vs a moderate action rod? Any additional advice is welcome

I like to use a fast action rod for jigs and suspending baits. Top water and soft plastics are easier for me to work with a moderate action rod. Just my preference. Check with Dom at Southern Customs. He can build you any rod you want. Superior quality and workmanship. Dom Bernardoni (229) 894-0097
