Getting boat off trailer

Post by fishing coach »

I am looking to replace my axle, spindles, springs and hubs on my trailer. Problem is that one spindle is shot and I can't tow it to the water to get boat off trailer. I am prepared to do all of the work with boat on trailer, but know it will be easier with it off. The boat is a Key West 1720, any suggestions on a method of removal?

Sounds like all you need is four jack stands & of course a jack.

Put an axle on my trailer last year with the 1720 on the trailer. Jack stands and a jack.......easy enough.

I have a 21 deep V off my trailer right now. Make some good support blocks, jack it and slowly pull the trailer out. you just have to move the jack several times. Look it up on youtube. It's not hard but just go slow and have steady supports.
People that catch a lot of fish fish a lot!
