Power Pro Question.

Post by Dixie Dawg »

I'm just curious on everyone's opnion on the new slick line vs the original. I've fished with both and I think I prefer the original because I feel it is more durable. Talking to my father and he likes the new slick stuff because it says it cuts down on wind knots. Just seeing what you all think.

Super 8 Slick, all the way. Better casting distance and I haven't noticed a difference in longevity or durability.

the slick has more of a wax coating which help's it not absorb water so quickly along with less noise going through the guides...it does help with knots as I believe it's cinches down a lot better than regular PP. it's just a better braid all the way around.

I like the slick better as well. Suffix has a similar product to the slick that is also good.

I just fished with it this past week. All my brother in law uses. I was very impressed and that will be my next choice when I buy more.
