Water temp for trout

Post by Pirate »

Question: What temp. runs the trout to deeper water? Will they stay close (in a little deeper water) to the shallow flats/bars where they are found and come back and forth with cooler water?
People that catch a lot of fish fish a lot!

I like fishing ledges or bars this time of year- the trout will chase bait up out of the deeper water and you can still catch them in 3'
Look for 5 - 7 feet of water with shallow sand bars or shallow grass flats nearby.
They will produce early and late in the day.
Midday expect the fish to be deeper!
