Afternoon Delight

Post by BKTomblin Jr »

Sorry to get back to ya so late but, it was late last night when I got in. Man, yesterday me and a friend decided to give Carrabell (excuse the spelling ?) a try , so we put in about 11am very low tide. We fished to the West of Dog Island....we got into a freenzy of wild, hungary birds and alot of hungary Lady fish. the rest of the afternoon consisted of catch "very little" and release all  even tried East side, but no luck. Right before sundown we got into em". The seas got alittle rough but nothin we couldnt handle. The fish were hittin' like crazy, it started w/ a nice grouper (keeper) followed by several Reds (w/ only one keeper) then we kept 3 or 4 trout which were respectable :smt023 the biggest catch was about a gaint sea turtle. Fortunitley we got him unhooked.. It was gettin dark and my lights we playin tricks so we headed in. It turned out pretty good :-D :-D We fished w/ live shrimp
under cajun thunder most of the day. I tried the jig, but no luck. I dont know if it were the skills or presentation ? I need to get with someone to figure out how to set up & fish these jigs.. PROPERLY Im posting a sign "HELP WANTED"
