*ISO* Duck decoys

Post by CastTheFlats »

Its a long shot but...... I am looking to add to my decoys and wanted to see if anyone was getting out of duck hunting or upgrading this year. Looking for Redheads, Coots, Buffles or anything else that resembles a duck I can paint.

Thanks,
Liam

I have I believe 8 or so Bond (I think that is the name) plastic mallards (maybe 1 hen). I'm sure you can paint them any way you'd want. I'd take $25 for em. Lightly hunted. I will verify on the number of decoys I have if you're interested.

I'll go check my decoy situation. Probably have a couple dozen. Mostly ring neck and mallards painted like ring necks. You have anything to trade? Fishing wise?

Addiction: The condition of being addicted to a particular activity.

I think we all fit that description to a certain degree, some more so than others and many on multiple levels.

Liam has not been duck hunting long enough to be this far ahead of the game!
I am cleaning ringer decoys for new paint this week ;-)

I've got a mojo and a lucky duck taking up utility room space. I haven't used them in at least 10 years (sold my duck boat and "retired") and have no idea if they will work anymore. I'm sure they'd need batteries at a minimum. A few years back I had thought about just ripping the motors out and running a dowel through them to use as wind powered decoys at the coast (no dead batteries on a long hunt and no worry about saltwater-electronics). That was project # 2,751 and I still haven't gotten to it.

Imk if you'd have any interest in acquiring them
