One thing about the speed of light it gets here too early in the morning
Re: This Saturday.???
I am watching the weather. Right now it says it is going to be bad in the morning and better in the afternoon. I haven't had time to see if I can get a new crew together or not.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Wife wants me to take her scalloping this weekend. Haven't been to st marks in a few months but was considering going there tomorrow. What's the scallop report like this late in season? Probably search for something to tug on a line on that outgoing tide also. Y'all been having any luck? It still been crazy busy over there? I generally avoid fishing during scallop season on the weekends because of the traffic but figure I'll deal with it for one day.
Re: This Saturday.???
Scalloping has been good, but I have not been in 2 weeks. Just East of Grey Mare rock in 3-5 feet of water-look for the boats. Probably want be as crowded as has been.
We have been catching a few keeper trout in 8-10 ft about a mile south of the second pole. good luck.

I'm heading out that way to do some fishing at first light if the weather/wind isn't too bad. I will try to remember to post a quick water clarity report for the flats in the rock garden. If too it's too rough we are staying in the river.
Re: This Saturday.???
I appreciate the report FT. We did decide on going there. Just hope we will be able to see them

When myself and my crew looked yesterday the weather report called for early thunderstorms. I looked again at 6 last night and it had that same report. Look this morning and it looks great. Too late to get ready to go though. Y'all be safe and pick up your limit. I will be taking the Boy Scout troop next weekend.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Tea stained but still see bottom in 5ft. Steady 10mph east wind.
Re: This Saturday.???
Are the scallops still there or did rain push them out deeper?

Sorry, was just fishing today. Lots of short trout and very large lady fish hitting pinfish non-stop on drifts. A live shrimp lasts about 10 seconds with all the pins.
