Rock Landing Looks Bad This Morn

Post by billch »

Just saw some pix of the marina and it looks like it will be a while before they get back to dunking boats. Looked like all the decking that the fork lift drives on got damaged or is gone. The restaurant lost it's flooring. Looks like the big door to the boat barn is gone.
Just nasty stuff laying everywhere.
Hang in there everyone.

Ha. That's about where I am now. Just north of Beaufort. Been quite a blow here but nothing like down there. Watched a Periscope feed last night of a storm chaser driving between carrabelke and panacea. During the feed we watched a Franklin county cop hit a tree in the road and the guy chasing the storm jumped out a helped him get out of the wreck. He drove down to Alligator point and did the video of the house where the old koa was. Saw that clip all over the tube this morn. Exciting stuff to watch late when the eye came ashore.
Glad I wasn't living there for the first time in a while. Hope everyone gets cleaned up and the fish tear it up again. Still lurking on bigbendfishing.com every morning from South Carolina.
