Re: Frontier vs. Robalo Cayman 206
That's going to be tough... unless they re-weld that rope bar and extend it up another foot or so (which would not be appealing OR functional for fishing). The only thing I think would be doable would possibly a 10' stick-it anchor pin, but would have to be VERY stout to hold that heavy arse boat.

Re: Frontier vs. Robalo Cayman 206
Yep, Galantnole I agree with you. Trying to think about how a hydrilla gear tilt bracket may allow me to tilt the power pole backwards just enough for the ski rope to swing freely. And then secure the power pole in a tilted position somehow. I dunno. Just something to occupy my mind till my girl gets here.

After a long wait, I finally got my cayman 206 with the f150! Thanks so much to everyone who chimed in with suggestions. I also wanna give props to Ron at Mikes Marine. I worked with him on this purchase and he did a great job! Highly reccomend him and the guys at mikes marine. Trying to get pics posted, but I'm forum illiterate.

Not sure yet on top end speed dawg fan. Still working on the breakin protocal for the yammy. But I'll let you know.
Re: Frontier vs. Robalo Cayman 206
I hope this works. Trying to finally post a few pics of the new ride. As per dawg fan's question, the top end is 45 with two adults two kids 1/2 tank of gas, ice and fishing gear. So far so good, loving it.

Very nice boat hard head. Where you fish out of? I see you can pull the kids on a tube too with the pull bar. They will love that.
