Recommendations on rewiring boat?

Starting to have too many small wiring issue on the Blazer bay.
I think its time for a complete rewire.
Who does a good job?

There was a fellow that was a guest speaker at a NFGFC meeting about two years ago. I was speaking to him after the meeting and he spoke in extremely knowledgeable terms. I base this on my electronics training and experience in the aviation and automotive industries. Unfortunately I cannot remember his name or his company. Maybe someone from the club can help with that information.
I hear that Mike's Marine ways also does above average work. Not only in secure connections, but in clean and organized wire routing.
Regardless of who you have do the work, insist on soldered, not crimped, connections. While being a little more expensive, you will not be sorry in the long term when it comes to reliability.

I rewired a 2001 Sea Pro that I had for about 9 years. I don't know if Blazer does the same thing as Sea Pro or not, but the factory wiring had jumper wires going from switch to switch rather than a separate hot wire for each switch / accessory. (My 2013 Sea Ark has the same thing). The problem with the factory set up is that when one connection corrodes or goes bad, everything downstream from that switch will not work.

Years ago, there was a pretty knowledgeable guy working at West Marine on W. Tennessee street who drew me wiring diagram to put each item on it's own circuit. Then we laid all of the wiring, switches, etc out on the floor of the store just as it would be in the boat, and I bought it all from him. Once I installed it in the boat, I never had another wiring issue.

Basically, I ran a pretty large pos. and neg. lead from the battery to the underside of the console. Hook the pos. lead to a fuse block and the neg lead to a ground bar making sure that both the ground bar and fuse block have a couple more spaces than you have accessories. Pos. wire goes from the downstream side of the fuse block to the switch, then to each accessory. Neg. wire goes from the ground bar directly to the neg wire from each accessory.

I've already had some small issues with corrosion on my SeaArk and will be rewiring it in this manner once the minor issues aggravate me enough.
