shout out to Parkway Marine.

Post by dombern34 »

not sure how many people use Fred and his crew but, he's earned my business. after waiting 2.5 months on Shields and a super high bill, my motor went down again.. too frustrated to deal with them again, I took my chances with someone new. Fred basically broke my motor down and found every issue along with every future issue. not only did he do that but he also call ME every step of the way and explained what he found and what he was going to do to fix it along with how long it was going to take. he never sugar coated anything nor did he give me the run around. his customer service was second to none. mike at mikes marine ways had to finish up a few details and build my seats for my boat and when he was through Mr. Fred went and pick the boat up for me and towed it his shop. I wish I had before and after pictures of the motor because when he took the cowling off to go over the engine with me, it looked new underneath. everyone has their own opinion and experience. mine was great with Parkway.

Saw it parked at mo's last night. Looking good!

Parkway is the only place my boats go.
In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.

thanks man, no sir, everything on the boat is new except for the motor, and even it has about 40% of new parts. Mr. Fred the motor outta run great and give me the confidence that I lost back. we will see. if she dies on me again with major problems then I'm not sure what I'll do. it's just been a lot of small issues that the last owner slacked on that I'm now having to pay for. part of owning a used boat so I'm sucking it up. piggy bank is about dried up so I'm just going to count my blessing and run the boat until she can't go anymore!
