Keaton beach. 1/25/17 report
Took the day of today to go fishing. Lavon was off too so we headed to Keaton. Got shrimp and ice then got on the water around 9:30. Beautiful day water temp first thing was 57 degrees. Headed down by Yates and started fishing. Could not buy a bite in close doe we eased out to 5-6' and caught this ugly critter. . Did not get another bite for a while, but we did not care as this was the first time we had been out since October. Caught one keeper trout then this nice 22" trout. . Later on after watching a lady land a 27" red. Lavon caught a keeper red(he not like getting his picture taken) then I caught this little guy. . Had a great day on the water and the motor ran great. Can't ask for more than that. The water got up to almost 62 degrees before we left.

Glad you got out there. Headed to Econfina next weekend for some camper maintenance and silver mullet recon. Will carry a trout rig with me.
