got my wife a good deal on a pontoon boat yesterday
going to get my key west rebuilt

Opened the store here in Newberry for the first sat. this year. wishing I was at Cedar Key. But it has been a very good day for fertilizer and seed so for

I BET NOT MANY PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM KNOW WHERE NEWBERRY IS, DO THEY STILL HAVE THE HORSE FARMS IN THAT AREA. WHEN I WAS IN THE UN. OF FLA WE WENT OVER TO NEWBERRY AND LAID OUT TERRACES ON SEVERAL OF THE HORSE FARMS THERE, SOME PRETTY LAND THERE.

Yes sir we do . we still grow peanuts and watermelons plus cattle. Alachua and levy county are the largest peanut growing areas in florida plus I have three growers who are still growing over two ac of tobacco each

That was suppose to be two hundred ac. of Tob. each, largest melon grower I deal with is 450 ac several in the 300 ac. range

WELL JIM, IT IS GOOD TO KNOW THAT SOME PEOPLE STILL KNOW HOW TO GROW FOOD. WE HAD SOME OF THOSE WATERMELLONS FROM THAT AREA THIS PAST JULY. MY SIL CAME THROUGH NEWBERRY AND BOUGHT SEVERAL MELLONS FOR OUR FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION DOWN AT LAKE GRANDIN, WHICH IS EAST OF HAWTHORNE
