Fished by myself, wife couldn't make it. Total 10 keeper trout to 19'', seven sea bass , one at 14''. All caught in 4-6 ft of water on grubs, one trout on a pinfish. Fished close to dog head and big grassy. Water was clearer in that area. After 4 days of fishing the mornings and in the afternoon it got old. ( The guys on the other forum didn't buy that either ) Not a great week of fishing but a great week off anyway.
Definately the time to go when you can is during the week. No ramp lines, nobody beats you to "your " spot. Only fished four days but it was great. My wife made it down Friday, went to the Forest Festival Saturday ( huge crowd ) Had to come home Sunday . You been lately CS ?
Havn't been in a while Jim. Second weekend in Sept. Had a few health issues to deal with, but I'm chomping at the bits to go now.
I was supposed to set up a black powder weapons display at the festival. Couldn't quite muster up the will to make it though.
Sorry to hear that, glad things are getting better. We hadn't been since the last week of July. This was our first time at the festival. Pretty big event . Talk to you later.
