WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) -- A 62-year-old Panacea man was killed in a crash in Wakulla County on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 4:25 p.m. on US-98 near Hideaway Lane.
The crash report states that a driver in an Oldsmobile Regency was traveling southbound on US-98 when he began to drift into the northbound lane. A driver in a Chevy Silverado was traveling northbound on US-98 and swerved right to try to avoid a collision.
The driver of the Regency continued to drift into the northbound lane and crashed into a boat trailer that was hooked up to the Silverado. The driver of the Regency had to be extracted from the vehicle.
62-year-old Charles Dennison was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, where he passed away from his injuries.
The driver of the Silverado and two passengers did not sustain any injuries.

Wow, I was traveling Sunday down 98 also from st george to alligator point with the wife's car hauling the boat, yes be carefull out there you just never know, thank god we made a safe trip there and back
