Where to go at Horseshoe Beach?

My wife surprised me for my birthday by getting us a house for the weekend at Horseshoe Beach. I have never fished the area, so I was hoping for any suggestions. We will be fishing and scalloping. I am sure the fishing is similar to Keaton and Steinhatchee, but any suggestions would be appreciated. Any recent luck down there or any general areas to start?

i have only fished HSB a few times and these are the two places I had the best luck. just a bunch of grassy spots in area (1) where we caught reds and then the flats (2) we had a pretty good time catching everything else. I hope this gives you a good starting point. good luck!
