St. Marks 10/31

Post by tin can »

Tom and I decided to hit it again today. We left the fora at about 0830 and headed for the spot we caught the fish on Friday. They were biting when we got there. Caught one trolling, and 5 bottom fishing. Also caught 1 spanish trolling. We caught a bunch of shorts today.

Final tally, 3 reds, 3 gags, 1spanish, 728,457 grunts.

Back on the trailer at 1500, and home in time to go trick or treating. Tom went trick or treating as a beet, tonight. He forgot his sun screen today. :o

MJ, we were using trolling baits, jigs, LY's and cut up grunts. We were in 25 feet of water.

DB, I wasn't aware there was a limit on grunts. We only kept 6 or 7 for bait. Do I need to back up and edit my post by 1?

It JUST occured to me why I am so sore in the back, arms and shoulders  I don't have the rod holders installed on the boat, so I held the rod while trolling for four hours :o It sure makes ya appreciate the little things don't it :-D

Wevans, I think I'd take time to put 1 rod holder in the boat.

Is everything else working now? Most important, do you have the name on the boat? :-D
