Shipping Tube for a 7' Rod
I'm looking for a tube/box to ship my 7' St. Croix rod for repair/upgrades. The St. Croix warranty is great but the hardest part is shipping it there. Does anybody have an old tube or something laying around that would work for the intended purpose? Lastly, for anybody who has shipped a rod in the past, do you have a shipping company that you'd recommend? Thank you!

Re: Shipping Tube for a 7' Rod
I've used UPS in the past, they didnt have any tubes so we just taped two long boxes together, but that was for a broken rod that I didn't care too much about in terms of surviving the shipping process. The new rod to replace that one is arriving thursday here in Tally and I would be more than happy to let you have the shipping tube they are sending it in. Text me @ 912-two two three- 7274.

Take it back where you bought it. The dealer will usually help you ship it back.

any tackle store should have one laying in the back somewhere. if not, PVC tubes are cheap. it's what I use.

St. Croix rods has a discounted shipping program and only it's $15.
I've used it several times without issues.
