Do handheld Lorans work worth a crap??? I've heard yes, and no.
I've got #'s to convert, but hate to buy a fixed mnt.
Also, what is the minimum distance the antennas for the gps, and loran need to be apart? I've been told 4', 6'. My gps has an internal antenna. Does that matter?

Loran-GPS
If you have a handheld gps......you don't need a loran of any kind.
I had a fixed mt Loran...till gps came out....and then I got rid of it.I've had a handheld gps for 6-8 years.....with map. It works great. I also have a fixed mt gps. The handheld is for backup.
