Ranger Bay 2510 ? ? ?

My brother in law was looking at a Gause Built, but after riding in, and loving the ride in my old Ranger Cayman he is now looking at the 2510. He wants to be able to do a little more inshore around Boca Grande/Charlotte Harbor. He is trading a offshore boat that is nearly new. After looking around he has found a demo Ranger 2510 that is fully loaded for a good price.

Anyone have any experience or know anyone that has? I told him he better have a dealer close (he does) as everything Ranger is made so you have to buy parts from them. I told him to have a close look at a Pathfinder too. The Ranger already has a helm tower which he really wants.

your advice is good. I ran my 2200 Bahia all over Boca Grand (from the south side of Sanibel to Englewood) one week this spring. We traveled inside and outside the islands without concern. I think the 25 would do everything he wants.

Like stated, everything is custom and not always in the warehouse prior to order. Blew out a tire and had to order a custom built stainless wheel-well. One would think that would be fairly standard if it bends every time a tire blows...
