Port St Joe
How come fishing at St joe Bay is so different? I tried using the same techniques I used to fish at Lanark. Looking 3 to 4 feet, popping cork, gold spoon and trowing everything even the kitchen sink. Fished around Black Island also. Looking for pointers, help, any Good advise?
Re: Port St Joe
I fish over there some and I think it has a lot to do with the clear water. I use to fish in the keys a lot and the clear water definitely changes things. At PSJ I do decent on most trips but have had my best days on overcast, misty days when the water has less clarity. I do know stealth and clear water go hand in hand. JMO but I do understand where your coming from. It is a nice place to fish because of the clear water but can be challenging at times.

I do know clear water has it's problems. I need to find the solution to fishing in clear water.

Quiet, low profile, fluorocarbon, cloudy day, light rain or just good luck on a beautiful day.

Found them yesterday. After searching for 2 days. Caught 6 shorts and saw a Cobia. Talk to a local and he said the Mahi Mahi are at the tip of the Cape. Storm pushed them in. Does anyone know of any boats sunk in the bay?
