Lake Jackson-11/6/04

Post by Eerman »

Didn't want to get my brains beat out in the wind and waves yesterday so I took out the canoe. Ended up with three largemouth. One in the 3lb range. The other two were little fellers. Fishing was very slow. Hard to work hard to get the three I got. Wind had me all over the place too which makes things tough.

I can relate to that Erman. You may as well have had a sailboat. There were a few times I had difficulty getting back to the spot I launched because of the winds.

I used to fish from my canoe in lake Jackson back before they started posting warnings about the consumption of the fish from the lake, it was then when I re-discovered saltwater fishing. I got blown around many times down there also.

No apologies needed here. You meant phat...PHAT...right? Acutally, if I would put on some more weight, maybe the canoe would sit a little lower and wouldn't blow around as much. Sound like a plan? :-D :-D
