Went down to the Hatch for the annual boys fishing trip. Friday started out slow, then boom after lunch we started loading the boat. Had a 3 man limit with 3 over slot trout by 5...caught on mostly gulps, z mans, and other soft plastics. White, pink, and chartreuse worked best. Caught several huge trout dragging a jig under cork behind the boat as we drifted. Dog Head, 9 Mile bank area did the most damage - 5-7.5 feet of water.
Saturday was slower but we caught 9 or 10 keepers and tons of shorts. 5-6.5 feet of water. Got checked by the man near Keaton on Saturday but he checked us pretty quick and went on about his business - Oh and was nice too.
All in all great weekend.
