well i dont think i can go now. we went to the kayak shop today to rent a couple of yaks. my friend was not working at the shop so i would have had to pay 60 bucks for 2 sit on tops. i just really didnt have 60 bucks to spend. i was really looking forward to this but i guess such is life.

Hey, I just found this board. I kayak fish as often as I can, which isn't often enough. I am planning on going out tomorow. I am going to hit Wakulla Beach and if things aren't going to well there, I plan on visiting the lighthouse. If you see a guy in a grey Pungo wearing a goofy hat, say 'hi'.

After several board members decided they could not go, I decided not to go. For safety reasons I do not kayak by myself.

You guys didn't miss much. The water was slick as glass when I got there, but the wind did pick up a little as the tide started to fall. Bait was everywhere, but neither the reds nor trout just wouldn't co-operate. Caught the usual junk fish and one short trout. I tried artificals and bait, but it just wasn't meant to be. I spoke to several people in boats, they weren't hitting anything either. Oh well...I still had a blast. It is always fun to get on the water.

I'm not sure where they were Littoral, because they sure weren't biting. I fished around the mouths of Goose Creek and Spring Creek. There were some guys around the bars near goose creek who were doing about as well as I was. Oh well...better luck next time.
