EARLY TUES. MORNIN 6/5/18

Post by FUTCHCAIRO »

EARLY TUES. MORNIN ALL, KINDA WARM OUT, THOUGHT I WOULD RUN OVER TO THE POND AND SEE IF ANY OTTER'S ARE OUT EATIN MY FISH ON THE DAM, GOT 3 LAST NIGHT. IT REALLY BUGS ME TO SEE THESE CRITTERS EATIN THE FISH WE HAVE SPENT A LOT TO RAISE. WE DRAINED A POND A NEIGHBOR HAD AND THE ONLY THING LEFT WERE A FEW CATS AND COTTON MOUTHS. HE WAS A PROFESSIONAL BASS FISHERMAN AND HAD BEEN PUTTING SOME FISH HE HAD CAUGHT OUT OF OTHER LAKES IN HIS POND AND FIND THAT THE OTTERS HAD CLEANED HIM OUT.

Give em lead poisoning PA, I had six of those suckers in my pond a few years ago . There were catfish heads laying all over the place and it took several years for the pond to recover. I saw one in the creek out back where I've been stocking bass, bream and hybrids earlier this year. Haven't seen any heads on the creek bank but I'm sure he got his belly full!

HEY DIXIE, I BOUGHT BABE ONE OF THOSE MINK FULL LENGTH COATS ABOUT 70 YRS. AGO AND I THINK SHE TRIED IT ON AND PUT IT BACK IN THE COVERED HANG UP AND I BELIEVE SHE GAVE IT TO OUR OLDEST DAUGHTER ABOUT 50 YRS AGO. BABE IS NOT A COAT PERSON, SHE WEARS BLOUSES, AND SLACKS AND WILL PUT ON A RAIN COAT BUT SHE JUST DOES NOT LIKE WEARING COATS.
