Louisiana, fishing out of Hopedale for bull redfish!!

We got together with some buddies of ours and made the trip to the Delta to chase some big bulls on light tackle and fly. Not to be unexpected in the winter, but the weather was challenging and the wind blew hard both days we fished and got completely rained out the last day, but we made the most of it and still caught some giants! This is an amazing fishery, we never saw the first fish that was under 28" . Anyone else fished from this location?

We go and stay at Sweetwater every year and do a cast and blast. It is an amazing playground for any outdoorsman.

Going in January for our next trip, but staying at a different place. We wanted a house that has a full kitchen. I will post up a report when we get back.
