Econfina - 9/22
Fished from sunrise to sunset. Caught a lot of fish. A real mixed bag. Lots of short trout, some sea bass, a few lady fish, a couple of blue runners, some cats and lizardfish. All the fish were caught in 5 - 8’ either on jigs worked near the bottom or Gulp jigs under a cork. New penny was the best producer, and white got completely ignored. Interestingly, live shrimp and pinfish did not produce a single bite all day!

That's really interesting.
See my report under the "Skunked" thread. I was at St. Marks the same time you were at Econfina. We couldn't get them to touch New Penny Gulp Shrimp, but they were all over the white and white with a chartreuse tail. I guess this is why we all have about 100 lures in our tackle boxes and actually use about 6 of them....
