Boating accident
A boater , age 34, was found deceased south of Goose Creek Bay. Apparently 12 foot aluminum boat capsized between Wakulla Beach and Shell Point,
Re: Boating accident
That's really terrible to hear. It doesn't take much to flip a 12 ft. boat, esp. in the wind we have had lately.

Re: Boating accident
Extremely sad to hear of the loss of this young man. Seas and winds were strong yesterday when the accident occurred and common sense should always be paramount.

Re: Boating accident
Terrible news. I wonder if he was out duck hunting or cruising/fishing. Either way, so many possible scenarios that we'll never know. Quick flip, misstep and down you go, a gulp of saltwater, can't catch your breath, and done,. Awful for the family and friends.
It's important we talk about these events to humble ourselves of how quickly things can happen out there.

Very sad. If it was July he had a good chance of surviving. Wintertime water temps can be a killer.
Be careful out there folks.
