Article about the decline and rebirth of reds in Texas

I remember watching nets form a horseshoe shape to the shore in Seagrove beach as a child and watching them keep everything. I also remember the rebound when they passed the net ban. I enjoyed this read about the fight for the net ban in Texas as well as the rebound of Reds and trout. Also, how flounder is facing a decline there and what they are trying to do to fix it. In some ways it parallels our piece of paradise here.

Interesting read. I was a "netter" in the Keys back in the 60's so I can relate. Netting mullet and mackerel was the way a lot of people made a living back then and at the time no one realized the damage it was doing.
