Disadvantage to stashing kayaks in the swamp
Drug one of my cheapo kayaks out of a woodsy hiding place today to fish Horns Creek. Not a lot of action, but ended up with one overslot trout. Paddling back, I felt a tickle on both thighs. Apparently, a family of mice had nested in the back of the kayak, and I woke them up. They were scrambling from underneath my seat, into my lap and up my legs. Glad nobody else was there to hear me freak out.

Usually you have to pay extra for the mice

Better mice than a rattler or two! Or a nest of fire ants.

Or are you considering this a "catch?" If so, please don't post your recipe and foodie review lolPhishingNole wrote:So how did you rig them?

Wow, that is certainly an unexpected surprise. I hope you didn't sustain any bites from your visitors.
