Safety
Saw a guy today running a twin engine KW, pulling a knee boarder in the St. Mark's channel.
There was relatively heavy boat traffic in both directions, and the passenger appeared to be a minor.
I can't imagine what decision making process ( or lack thereof ) leads to doing this.
It wouldn't take much for this to become a tragic accident, and I hope they dont do it again. It wasn't a brand new boat, although I've seen some of those plowing through no-wake zones recently.
Safety first!

Thanks for the post. Boats don't have brakes, kids and boats don't mix, and too much of the Alcohol will kill innocent people. That's why we have FWC.

Re: Safety
Tubing in a marked channel? Great way to get someone killed. That is about as stupid as it gets. Like playing in traffic

Re: Safety
Is it illegal to pull a pull a person behind a boat in the channel or just not recommended? I know I would not do it, but unfortunately stupidity is not against the law.

Yes, Shell Point ramp and that looks suspiciously like a Bayliner in the background.

Was at the Shell Point ramp. I didn’t ask what happened, but the boat is still at the dock. Reckon they had to go find an extra tow vehicle.
