Kathy's Crab Shack. That's been our go-to place.
WhoDat at Good Times is always a good bite, but dependent on how late you go they may try and close up early.
Fiddlers is decent, pricey for what you get.
Have not been to Roy's yet.

Roy's was great when we were there recently.

I'm curious, when y'all eat at roys, what do y'all get...I've been pleased with grilled or blackened grouper there, anything else fried, not so much.

I too have not been impressed with Roy’s but it sure stays packed. Fiddlers used to be good food but imho has gone down hill in past couple years. Kathys is good but no adult beverages if that’s a problem or not. I usually stay at Good Times and eat at Who Dat. Hasn’t disappointed yet. If you get tired of seafood there’s Hungry Howies, good place to eat outdoors on the river as long as the no-see-ums don’t carry you off.

And that HungryHowies is one of the best, totally unique experience that'd you get from something like a Mellow Mushroom

Roy’s was great. I had the shrimp and flounder. They have a good salad bar too.
Kathi’s is great too. I’ve only had a burger.
Fiddlers seemed way over priced IMO and not enough food.
McDavids is awesome for breakfast. They have good donuts. Price is reasonable.

McDavid's, that's the place by the bridge, right? If so... We call that place #BridgeBiscuits because man, those homemade biscuits are MASSIVE and so delicious. Good, cheap, homemade diner-style breakfast eats. Absolutely worth the stop.SouthernPointe wrote: March 11th, 2021, 10:19 am

You are correct! I’ve been seeing those donut signs since the Eggnog open and finally stopped in there prior to prefishing the NFRS tournament. I got two donuts and boy was I kicking myself about an hour later for not getting more.FishWithChris wrote:McDavid's, that's the place by the bridge, right? If so... Took the family back that Sunday for a sit down breakfast. The wait was long but it did not disappoint.
