Keaton will be packed too like last werkend.theres a tournament out Steinhatchee too so there's gonna be boats all over.
O well we'll just have to make the best of it. And hopefully catch some fish.
It's tournament season... Everywhere is going to be packed. Get there early, bump a couple rocks, get your fish, and keep on rollin'

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark

We went out from Econfina today (Friday). From Aucilla to Rock Island looks like very strong tea! I would have thought that the water would have cleared some by now. The tannic acid water is just flat out nasty when it comes to fishing. Couldn’t see my lure at 12” depth. Ughhh
Water isn’t really darker than usual for this time of year. Fished this area a large portion of the weekend. Trout were a bit harder to find than they should be in April, but the redfish were everywhere. Caught a couple overslot fish as well as a 7.7# that won the redfish division. Probably caught 40-50 reds over the weekend. Go fishing if your schedule permits.
FYI-most folks aren’t posting reports on the second day of a 2 day tournament. I’m still recovering….
In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.
Since RtD was mentioned, I heard that guys fishing in Panama City won the Panacea Rock the Dock tournament. I'm not a tourney guy but does that make sense? Could a fella pay to compete and then fish Louisiana and submit a large Red?
