Boat lift maintenance
Does anyone know of someone who will do basic boat lift maintenance in Parker/Panama City? I need to change the belts on mine but would like for someone who knows how to show me how. I can do most of the other stuff (lubrication, etc.), but I probably could use a few pointers. It's a Deco boat lift, and I've given up trying to get the installer to come out. I've also tried every other lift installer in Bay County, but I just get empty promises or no call back.

Re: Boat lift maintenance
I found a you tube video for belt change, it might help you...seems pretty easy.

Thanks, fishinfool. I had seen that video once, and on second look the belt change does look doable. I'll probably try it.

He installs all sorts of lifts, so i assume he may be interested in helping you out with the maintenance.

Thanks, Fish Masterson. I’ll check it out.
Re: Boat lift maintenance
Jay Cooksey with Big Bend did the maintenance for me and even showed me how to do it myself. Thanks, all, for the reference.

I'm looking for someone closer to Alligator Point for this type of work. Proabably a bit too far for Jay.
Appreciate any recommendations.
