I have always had the impression that, "charter boat", "middle grounds" and "cheap", were not words that appeared in the same sentence. :-D

As wevans said, getting out these distances can be done in smaller boats, but you have to be able to get back in again quickly, if the weather turns. :cry:

There's a couple of guys on the FS Bigbend that go a few times a year....Think they have gone solo (one boat) too....Too far for me (skeered) with one boat unless it's over 40'...

I was actually considering going on a 34 hour overnite trip out of hubbards marine{ http://www.hubbardsmarina.com/events.htm } party boat like atmosphere but with more fishing type people onboard. was wondering if any one has tried a trip like this ? thanks again :D

That looks like a lot of fun bb. But I am afraid I would get fat! Look at the menu:
Meal ticket is available for only $25.00 and includes unlimited soft drinks, candy, chips,coffee for the entire trip.
On the other hand, maybe 36 hours of that would cure me of my chip thing.
