Info most appreciated & I will get in touch to fish. I usually have gear with me but as much as I try to plan when I go over there my options more often occur without much notice. That's part of why the kayak has been so useful. I really give my kids as much time and attention as sanity will allow. It clearly pays off. They're 2 & 4 now so the 100% maintainence is getting a little easier. That ought to equal more fishing.
I'll PM when I can. You can also look forward to a few favorite sites of my own. I have some good maps I tried to send but I can't find them just now.
Just got around to reading your report (Better late than never). Good fishing son. Guess all my teaching trips with you are starting to pay off. You did good young man.
As has been noted- Nice report and pictures.
I was flying along the coast with a friend a while back, and we saw a really large fish in the shallows about half way from Carrabelle to East Point. Looked to be 7-8 feet long and I don't think it was a propoise, since it's tail was going from side to side.
And for Lit, A good place to shop is Pricewatch. http://www.pricewatch.com/
Here's a 1.3mp for $28 and will fit in your shirt pocket (wallet?) I might order one of these, myself. http://www.edazz.com/3in1ulslcasi.html
Or, you can get a 2mp for 50-60 bucks.
TC, I'm not recommending that little cam- just pointing it out as a possiblity. It could be junk for all I know. Might be a good idea to see, if you can find some online feedback. I'll take a look.
Here's another one- a little over twice the price, but a better looking cam and 4mp- probably a better deal for the money..
