Fished with Bill and Tonya Bowles off Dog Island and TP shoal. Tonya’s 30” red was our biggest but Bill landed 3’ sharp nose that also put up a great battle. The trout were plentiful but everything was released for another day . My big fish was the 21” trout
Best bait was silver dollar pins or fresh cut thumb size’ all fished under popping corks.

Nice haul, giving me hope we won't have to rely on the offshore bite next Friday!

I’ve been here for a month and inshore has been consistent. Offshore has been hit and miss unless your in for 6 hour round trip boat ride.

Sometimes the offshore fish are jerks. You can find them without too much trouble, but sometimes, they refuse to bite anything.doomtrpr_z71 wrote: June 22nd, 2024, 4:33 pm Nice haul, giving me hope we won't have to rely on the offshore bite next Friday!

There were tons of fish on this spot, but I think we only caught 2 there.
