How do you add Guages and a button to Tilt your motor on?

Post by mojokoko »

I was wondering if anyone knew how hard it is to put a button on my
console to allow me to tilt my motor from there instead of pushing the button on the motor. (4 stroke 25hp Honda). I also wanted to add some
other guages like "MPH and or battery power etc etc".

The trim switch is relativly simple :-D You need a switch "Mom/Off/Mom", preferably a heavy duty one and wires spliced into the wires at the motor trim switch  sounds easy don't it :-D

The fun part is running the wire(s) to the console and installing the switch. :-D

You can get the switch at NAPA for about $5. I just put one in my boat. The switch in the handle went bad so I just mounted it in the dash.

This is a GREAT place to buy switches and just about anything else electrical  but to make it worthwhile ya need to order several things "shipping and such" :-?
