Headed out with customers with Asa Martin and waded our way through people fishing the middle of the channel again. Got to see the FJB skiff
As usual a great time with Asa, even if one of my bunch had to be put in time out for all the jig heads he kept hanging on rocks. The first spot was overran with rat reds so we moved, grabbed a quick limit of trout, and went west to find our reds and picked up some black drum and a bonus sheepshead
Good time for sure, all these fish to clean left plenty of heads for the Filipinos
We finished the trip with dinner at Angelo's with snapper Parmesan
Dad gum good couple days! Thanks for sharing, espically the pictures. Went to Aucilla yesterday with my 2 boys (worth the trip whether we caught anything or not). Put in at about 12:30 to have a little water. Fished in the river for about an hour and caught 3 keeper trout and a pile of shorts. Not as many boats as I thought-maybe 6-8. Moved out to the east and fished couple creeks and finished the limit of trout and 1 red. Beautiful day. Caught most on jig with gulp or z-mann. Couple on lures. Water crystal clear. Back at landing at 5:30.
