Me and coworker put in at the ramp around 7:00am went to the usual hole straight out the mouth about 1.5 miles .sat down and the bites was on, caught 5-6 keepers in less than and hour and caught several shorts, about 8-9:00 amthe fog rolled in and it was thick, visibility was less than 100 yards, pretty spooky out there, made a run in to the mouth just to see if we could find it

and we did. Co worker was a little spooked in the fog and didnt trust my GPS abilities...lol after fishing the mouth for about an hour with no bites I pursuaded my coworker to head back to the "spot" and as soon as we got there it was on again. we limited out and culled a few fish, total for the day was 18 keepers and close to 40 shorts.1 short rock bass,no pins or trash fish. The excitement came when we started to leave around 3:00pm Seems the Johnson and the fog didnt get along, apparently some condesation built up in my coilpack and had the motor running pretty foul, tide was low, motor sputtering and fog as thick as mud, pretty scary ride in,but we made it.Next time I go out I will have a marine radio and will stay home if fog is in the forcast

I think Ill need another fishin partner....lol water temp 63.5 fish caught on candycorn and electric chicken under CT.sprimp pieces to sweeten the grubbs.
